ANOTHER BABY!!!

2012 was a year of announcements, announcements, and MORE announcements :)  That's right, 3 of our ladies had baby news.  ANOTHER baby. For one, it was her 2nd baby; for another, it was her 3rd; and for another, it was her 4th. 3 new baby boys to welcome into the world.  While they all have had big baby showers in the past, we believe that EVERY child deserves to be showered :).  I have planned so many parties for the same group of people so the biggest challenge was thinking of something NEW, something DIFFERENT, something that we haven't seen at any other baby shower.  Whether it be the color scheme, the theme, the invite.... anything to make their shower memorable.  Here are the pics from the 3 showers.
For this Baby Shower, we chose to do a yellow and gray colored shower.  We added letters to make it an alphabet theme.  I hung letters in yellow and gray from the ceiling with regular balloon ribbon.  We made tissue paper pom poms to hang from the ceiling and for the wall.  The souvenir was also the cake.  They were Mason jars filled with yellow cake and gray frosting (ordered from SaveABite@blogspot.com).  The utensils and napkins were placed in a cardboard crib that was covered in card stock.  We printed out Alphabet sheets and put them in white frames on the table and in a frame hanging on the wall for guests to sign.  This shower was a huge hit.  EVERYONE that walked in the house loved the color scheme, the souvenirs and how we used pom poms instead of balloons.

Then we had a small Dr. Seuss theme Baby Shower.  It was at the house and it was very small, but once again, guests left talking about the colors, the fish bowl, the unique souvenirs, and our pom poms :)

We had Pom Poms on the table and hanging on the ends of the door way.  We placed Pepperidge Farm Fish in a large fish bowl and put a fishing net in the bowl as a scooper.  For Souvenirs, we put Sweedish fish in small votive holders that looked like mini fish bowls. I put a yellow fish (to add color and keep with the "basic color" theme) that read "Thank You" in the souvenir as well.

Then there was the last Baby Shower for 2012.  There was no specific theme for this one so my friend went to Target and picked out an invite that she liked.  It happened to have colors that we normally didn't see for a Baby "BOY" Shower and it also had a few stripes and stars on it.  So, I decorated the Shower around the idea's that I got from the invite.  The colors were blue, orange and brown.

I made a banner with stars that read "It's a Boy".  I made plain Wilton souvenir boxes look like they were made as a set with the invite.  I wrapped strips of ribbon in the three colors (to give the box it's "stripes") and added a cut out "star" and stamped the boxes with the "Thank You".  I filled the boxes with mints; who doesn't like mints? They didn't plan on having a center pieces but changed their minds when they heard how affordable these would be.  Wrapped Up Empty Boxes dressed up with ribbon, bows, and star cut outs.  The hall looked beautiful and the Mom-2-Be was happy so this was ANOTHER successful party for betonBets.

Stay tuned for more Parties and Pics.....
